Chapter 2: Wendy

Wendy hoped she had done the right thing leaving Bob at home alone to meet the repairman. He had not had one of his "paranoid" episodes in over three months and she had used up all her sick and holiday time, she could dip into vacation time, but she only had a week. Maybe he was cured, three months was the longest period of time he had gone without any delusions. Maybe the new antipyschotic the Doctor had prescribed was the one. After all, she had gone to the park and the movies with Bob and had no problems. And he had to be left alone at some point. Maybe she should go home for lunch, just to check up and make sure Bob was doing alright, no, that might make Bob think that there was a conspiracy against him or at the very least that she didn't trust him, which she didn't, but he didn't need to know that. She would call and make sure everything was OK, that shouldn't raise his "suspicions". It was only 11:00 so the repairman probably hadn't gotten to their house yet. She would call around 3:00, he should have had time to get out to their house by then. Now, all she had to do was to figure out a way to keep from worrying about Bob until then. Well, the thought of trying to do some real work was just ridiculous. She had some data entry that should at least carry her through to lunch.
